Sweater Shrug

Hello Everyone!! I hope y'all are having a great day :)

Today I'm supposed to do a sweater post. There's just one problem; it's already too warm here for sweaters!! So I decided to wear a green short-sleeved sweater shrug, (Which I LOVE by the way) with a tank and jeans.Sweater sitting horizontal

And look! A circular rose clutch!

You know what? I think I actually love all of these pieces equally. You know, after I said I loved the shrug, I remembered how much I love the cute lacey-studded-fox top, and then how much I love the black suede wedges, and the clutch.

Oh! And the silver and pearl earrings and necklace set, which you can't see very well in these pics, but whatever. Also the rings I wore. So yeah, basically everything.

Anyways, gotta dash! See y'all again in a couple of weeks! ;)

Green Date ~ Mercy

Hello Lovelies! I hope you all had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day!
For this outfit, I decided to go with something I would only wear on a date. (I've got no boyfriend, so I've got nowhere to wear this outfit to.)
But I had fun dressing up that way anyway!
So one of my fashion rules is, when you wear something fitted, you have to wear something loose, too. It controls whether you look like a bag or your clothes are about to rip. (Trust me, this rule is important!) I wore my skinny jeans, so I put on a green top that was flowy to give the right proportions.

Minty

Happy (late) St. Patrick's day, everyone!

I am super excited about this outfit, because the weather here in Maine is finally warming up a bit and I was able to take pictures outside! It is still rather chilly and wet, but I won't let that get me down.

The dress and shoes I'm wearing were a gift from my wonderful parents and I'm obsessed with them. The dress is so simple and versatile that it can be thrown on in the blink of an eye and dressed up or down as needed. The shoes are so edgy and fun, also quite comfortable and great for running around in the summer.

To define the waist on this dress more, you could add a belt, or do without like me for a more relaxed look.

This is actually a plain scarf that I turned into an infinity cowl with a cute, simple, temporary diy. Here's how: simply take a corner from each end of the scarf and knot them together, then repeat with the other two corners. Position the knots behind your neck, wrap once or twice, and enjoy!

I had some fun with the twirly skirt of this dress. Can you tell?

Thanks for reading! Hope everyone had a fantastic St. Patrick's day and avoided getting pinched.

Saint Patrick's Day Stamping and Glitter Placement

Hello! Happy St. Patrick's Day, early! ;)

So, I was pretty stumped last night trying to figure out what to do for my St. Paddy's Day nails (I'm not super into green) so I ended up kinda wimping out and going with a light green base, darker green stamping, and a green hand-placed glitter accent nail. Lots of green!!!

I started, as always, with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails nail Hardener. On all but my ring finger, I applied three coats of Sally Hansen Green With Envy and let them dry. I then stamped the shamrock design from Pueen 40 with Soo s183 (it doesn't have a name, only a number) and topped with Glisten and Glow HK Girl top coat. On my ring finger, I applied one coat of BSquared Lacquer Change the Game (it was an almost perfect match for my glequins!), and used a regular, cheap, slow-drying top coat to stick the glequins on one by one, then topped with two coats of Just Ricarda Glossy Glam top coat and one of HK Girl.

Thanks for looking! Have a great St. Patricks Day, and don't get pinched. ;)

Trend Introduction: Green

So, since Saint Patrick's Day is coming up, our next trend is green!

My job, as the trend introducer, was to make a board on Polyvore for the trend. Sounds easy, right?

Well, it was. Too easy; I went to find green pieces I wanted to incorporate, and ended up finding three that I just couldn't decide between! So, here ya go; it's like a triple-stuffed Oreo, only it's a blog post! ;)
